2008 Season Ends at Woodard

The Golden Hawks 2008 season came to an abrupt end after a disappointing 21-7 loss to the War Eagles of Woodward Academy in a game that was much closer than the 21-7 final score might appear.  Rebounding from 2006, a young Golden Hawks team finished the season with an 8-3 record and advanced to the play-offs as the 3rd seed from Region 3 - AAA.

 

Thanks to the team and the coaches for all the hours you put in to keep us entertained on Friday nights.  The theme for this year was The PRIDE is back!! and I could not have been more proud to be associated with a group young men and women.  You were the epitome of what it means to be a Golden Hawk and I appreciate you allowing me to be a part of it all.
